This is a commemorative disc for the 100th anniversary of the birth (as of 2012) of Georg Solti, one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century. The disc includes Scholte's only recording of "The Planets" with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The coupling includes all five of Elgar's marches "Dignified".
